Are you a wordsmith with a passion for making a difference? Join our team as a Grant Writing Wizard at Mindbridge, where we fuse science and compassion to revolutionize human rights work!

Your Role: As a Grant Writing Wizard, you'll be instrumental in helping us to secure the resources needed to drive our mission forward. Tasks you can contribute include:

  • Collaborating with our team to develop compelling grant proposals.

  • Writing and editing grant applications that showcase Mindbridge's impactful work.

  • Ensuring timely submission of grant proposals.

Skills & Abilities: We're seeking volunteers with:

  • Exceptional written communication skills.

  • Attention to detail and a knack for storytelling.

Why Volunteer with us?

Working with human rights defenders on five continents to date, in 2023 Mindbridge:

  • Developed the Countering Extremism Directive - a Mindbridge initiative utilizing psychology and neurobiological research to disrupt domestic forms of extremism.

  • Was invited to join the Global Counterterrorism Forum - working with over 30 member countries and civil society organizations to harness cutting-edge science for deradicalization innovation.

  • Having accomplished a comprehensive state-wide examination of racial trauma, developed the Healing Racial Trauma Initiative, dedicated to advancing the integration of Afrocentric and Indigenous worldviews at the core of patient care. 

  • Established the Maine Racial Equity Social Determinants of Health (ME RE-SDOH), working to distribute and integrate key insights throughout Maine's clinics and healthcare system, fostering equitable health outcomes for all.

  • Initiated the Mindbridge Institute, providing extensive courses and training in the fields of psychology and neuroscience, in support of global human rights endeavors.

  • Conducted bias mitigation and anti-racist practice trainings with over 1,000 participants this year alone.

Your Role: As an Online Course Promotion Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of spreading knowledge and transforming lives through our online courses. You will work closely with the Mindbridge Institute team members to: 

  • Contribute to creating engaging content for social media, newsletters, and our website.

  • Collaborate with our team to optimize course enrollment and engagement.

Skills & Abilities: We're seeking volunteers with:

  • Strong digital marketing skills and a knack for online promotion.

  • Exceptional written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in social media management and email marketing.
