Mindbridge continues to cultivate resources during this ongoing human rights emergency. The following organizations are taking action to manage this crisis.

  • Eleos-Ukraine

Eleos-Ukraine is an organization that works to protect several at-risk demographics.

Eleos-Ukraine implements projects aimed at positive community change and the development of the social service network in Ukraine and abroad. They do this with the involvement of a wide range of stakeholders in solving social problems: the state, individuals, religious and non-governmental organizations and business representatives.

Eleos-Ukraine assists people who find themselves in a difficult life situation and need outside help, including people with disabilities and chronic diseases, internally displaced persons and members of their families, and at-risk children and adolescents.

Now, their projects will be reoriented to help refugees, the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as well as members of their families.

  • Fight for Right

Fight for Right is an NGO based in Ukraine that helps support individuals with disabilities.

No one in Ukraine had chosen this war, but it directly affects groups already facing discrimination. For people with disabilities who face barriers and inaccessibility at all times, war brings an additional, overwhelming feeling of fear and helplessness; not to mention a direct threat to their lives. Ukrainians with disabilities have far fewer options for evacuation

Fight For Right has been working 24/7 to help these individuals to evacuate. Their team tirelessly seeks out volunteers, gathering medicine and food for this emergency. They problem-solve and help evacuate everyone who needs it; and many people with disabilities have already been successfully evacuated. There are so many more waiting.

All funds donated to Fight for Right will be used to transport people to safe places and give these people financial support. They also use funds to buy food and medicine for people who can not evacuate. Funds will be transferred directly to a Ukrainian NGO (Fight for Right NGO) led by Ukrainians with disabilities. Help will be provided directly on the ground in Ukraine.

  • The Kyiv Independent

You can support The Kyiv Independent's journalism - English language coverage via direct crowdfunding on Patreon, which means these journalists don't need to rely on advertising, government, or gimmicky, clickbait-y social media algorithms to get their story out.

If you're feeling helpless and wondering what you can do RIGHT NOW, you can send a small one-time or monthly donation to go directly to folks reporting from the ground in Ukraine. Your money will go directly to the source of information, and these folks aren't new to the game.

  • The Club Eney

For 30 years, The Club Eney has promoted the rights of vulnerable people who are the victims of domestic violence, who struggle with addiction, and those who are sex-workers, with a special focus on women in Ukraine. They provide access to rehab, social, health, HIV/TB prevention services, and violence prevention services. Their projects use community participatory approach that help to reach their project target populations, build trust and ensure that the project interventions are culture appropriate, client-centered, gender sensitive and non-discriminatory.

The Club Eney has remained in full force in Kyiv and the region during the war. They work in 13 regions of Ukraine through their representatives. They continue to raise money, medicine and food for at-risk individuals.

  • Transparency International Ukraine

Mindbridge is joining the Transparency International informational campaign. We call on international brands to stop working in Russia!

Economic sanctioning of Russia is already imposed by governments of the EU, US, Canada and other countries. International businesses can do their part too.

As their customer, you can tell businesses to stop financing this war!

Transparency International has prepared a list of well-known companies so you could address them publicly

For some of the companies, TI has explicitly explained how doing business in Russia affects the civilian population

Select the company that you would like to appeal to and tag it in posts on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook
